We celebrated the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year the UN Women theme is 'Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress'. Thank you to our student leaders for delivering inspiring and motivational messages about embracing diversity and inclusion at our assembly.
We also celebrated International Women's Day with female staff and students from Years 4-12 invited to attend our IWD breakfast. This is an annual event where we connect and recognise the achievements of our amazing WHSC community. Purple is the official colour of International Women's Day and there was a splash of purple across the college to celebrate.
