The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) ABN 48 951 709 627 is a dedicated community of parents and citizens actively engaged in supporting the college through formal involvement.

The P&C provides:

  • feedback on college policies and activities
  • additional resources to be used to enhance student learning
  • opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s education.

Research has shown that parent involvement in a child’s education makes a significant contribution to the child’s success at school.

The objectives of the association are to promote the interests of and facilitate the development and further improvement of the college.  We achieve this by promoting parent participation, encouraging close cooperation between parents, students and staff and promoting positive community support.

The P&C combines fostering community with fundraising by organising Whites Hill State College community events.

If you have other interests you would like to see happening please email pandc@whiteshillsc.eq.edu.au.

The P&C meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM in the AALC Building at the school (enter via Burn Street) or virtually (link sent out via Facebook and to P&C members via email).

Stay updated with the latest P&C news and events by following us on Facebook! Facebook is the best way to stay informed. Visit our page at https://www.facebook.com/whscpandc. We regularly share important updates, meeting notifications (including MS Teams links), and details about upcoming events and promotions.

Remember, attendance at our meetings is open to all, whether in person or virtually. Everyone is welcome to participate! However, only P&C members have the privilege to vote on matters discussed during meetings. Join us to stay connected and engaged in your school community.

If you would like to become a member, please submit a Membership Form and Code of Conduct, and we'll vote at the next meeting.
