The parents and citizens association (P&C) is a group of community-minded parents and citizens who take on a more formal role to assist the college.
The P&C provides:
feedback on college policies and activities
additional resources to be used to enhance student learning
opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s education.
Research has shown that parent involvement in a child’s education makes a significant contribution to the child’s success at school.
The objectives of the association are to promote the interests of and facilitate the development and further improvement of the college. We achieve this by promoting parent participation, encouraging close cooperation between parents, students and staff and promoting positive community support.
We provide services including easy access to before school, after school and vacation care, convenient uniform and stationery supplies through the uniform shop.
The P&C also combines fostering community with fundraising by organising Whites Hill State College community events.
Why travel too far when we could have it all, right here? Look no further for fit, activity, healthy kids (body & mind).
If you have other interests you would like to see happening please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The P&C meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 6.30pm in the AALC.
