All week at WHSC, we celebrated the CBCA Book Week theme – Reading is Magic.
We held our Junior Quota Free Bookstore throughout the week. Students had an impressive choice of books thanks to our amazing WHSC community and their generous book donations. We also received books for our library donated by Joe Kelly MP and Queensland Cricket. Our Primary Environment Club celebrated the theme Reading is Magic and had a lot of fun creating a Magic Fairy Garden. On Friday, 23 August we all dressed as our favourite book characters across the college. The week ended with our much-anticipated Primary Book Week Dress Up Parade where some amazing costumes were on display!
