Whites Hill State College International Student Homestay Coordinator organises homestays for students. Students can experience life within an Australian family while they study.
Homestay families
All of our homestay families are very friendly people and enjoy having students from other countries live with them. International students have the opportunity to develop life-long friendships with their host family. Many of these families have their own children studying at Whites Hill State College. International students are included in the family, and participate in family events and holidays e.g. camping, BBQs, fishing, going to the movies and eating out. Staying with an Australian family is a warm, friendly and safe experience and one which students really enjoy.
Pastoral Care
Whites Hill State College enjoys a family atmosphere which is very safe and caring. The college places a great emphasis on looking after all students in the school. Students are support by many staff.
