High achieving students visited the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute and Pathology Lab in Herston on Wednesday, 1 March to learn about blood diseases and sick body parts. They had a chance to look under microscopes to see what blood looks like when patients are infected with certain diseases such as Malaria, African sleeping sickness, and iron deficiency.
Throughout the day students displayed our college CARES values and impressed presenters with their behaviour and enthusiasm.
