We have had a big week celebrating NAIDOC Week at WHSC. Our students have participated in activities to learn more about our Indigenous culture, languages, art and history. Students have learned some scientific methods and knowledge through experiments and displays; they have entered our colouring-in competition using this year's NAIDOC Poster – Shape of Land; and they have played some games and learned traditional painting and weaving techniques.

This year's NAIDOC Week theme is: Always Was, Always Will Be recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.
