Science Week


​Whites Hill State College celebrated the 2017 Science Week in a variety of activities for all year levels across the college.

Our Prep and Year 1 students had fun making tasty zingy sherbet. Year 2 – 5 students engaged in computational thinking and robotics programming with Ozobots in workshops facilitated by Toohey Forest Environmental Education Centre.

Year 6 pupils were able to experience flying drones. Secondary students engaged in a range of activities including sensational slime, pop rockets, programming drones, making Elephant’s toothpaste, bouncy carbon dioxide bubbles and creating delicious ice cream.
